SAPU ANGIN I

Sapu Angin I is an our vehicle which we want to compete on Prototype Class in Shell Eco Marathon Asia 2010. Sapu Angin means wind sweep. It reflects that our vehicle design is based on advance aerodynamics concepts, lower weight, best materials, and high tech control system to get the most out of fuel consumption to travel.


These are the spesification of Sapu Angin I :


* Body            : Monocoque fiber glass
* Engine          : 35 CC, 4 stroke OHC (Internal Combustion)

* Fuel System     : EFI

* Fuel            : Gasoline

* Induction       : TCI

*  Transmission   : Sprocket Chain System

* Steering Syst.  : Go-kart Pitman Arm Steering

* Brake           : Disk brake

In monocoque structure body, we use stiffners, adopted from fish bone structure. It has high reliability and strongness but low in weight. We use all of special design and materials for this vehicle.
This vehicle is on rank 11 on Asia. It s record is 236 km/l.

    ITS Berjaya di Shell Eco Marathon

    Tim dari Jepang dan China sementara unggul dengan keiritan yang diperkirakan sulit dikejar oleh tim-tim Indonesia baik ITS, ITB, UI atau UGM. Tetapi kita berharap Tim ITS masih bisa unjuk gigi. Tim ITS, unggul diantara tim-tim dari Indonmesia sendiri.

    Setelah kita terbukti unggul di faktor utama perlombaan ini, mari beranjak utk menyempurnakan faktor2 yg laen seperti keamanan (tuh joki ga pake coverall nomex padahal mesin-nya adalah prototip), kenyamanan (ergonomi) dll.
