For view month, team has hard worked to build this vehicle, start from making concept, getting finance support, and the building of the vehicle.

 It was start from recruitment of team member. There are fourteen students on team that chosen and ready to giving all attention to reach the purpose of team. It was devide into technical and supporting team.


Technical team make design and fabricate the vehicle, while supporting team  work for finance supporting, and marketing communication.


Until now, it is quite satisfy that team could be supported by several sponsors beside, although it is not enough yet. And Sapu Angin I has reach the finishing step of the body fabrication. Our next target are getting more sponsor's supports and race the Sapu Angin I on circuit.

For one month we have hard working on the making of steering system, monocoque chasis,  finishing of the body, and transmission system. We feel that realizing design to become the real thing is quite difficult. Sometime the design is not good enough for the car. And if it happened, we redesign, and rebuilt them, because we must be sure that our car is the best. 


Our next schedule is Sapu Angin I launching  on Rektorat ITS building and driving test on Kenjeran Park Circuit on January 11, 2010. It is very important that from then, we will know how our engine work.

And the day when we launched SAPU ANGIN finally has been passed. It was great that public attention and supporting were amazing. A lot of national media came to watch the launching. There are a lot of onews about us in the national media this day. For that, we had worked very very hard to prepare the car. Before that day we have tried to race SAPU ANGIN I several times, and there  was no big problem. But it was not satisfy that there was transmission trouble on the car when we toke running test on the launching day. For that mistake, we had evaluated and repaired the trouble this day. And now, the car can run better than before.

After this, we will take holiday for one week. Then the next schedule are evaluating overall SAPU ANGIN I, preparation the engine for maximal efficiency and the building for SAPU ANGIN II.

For now, we are still building chasis and body of SAPU ANGIN II, and developing advance engine system. We hope we will get the best result.

We are still developing our fuel control system on advance step. For now it has good performance. We can control the fuel flow rate easily as we want.  It is just waiting for running test again.

We are really sorry that for several days, our webblog having limited acces. It was because we were upgrading and updating to make this webblog as good as possible. Now you can acces it as usual.

Today we had meeting with Social Invesment Manager of Shell Indonesia Mrs. Sri Endah. We discussed a lot with her and tried to solve all problem together.

And thanks a lot to PT. Astra Honda Motor for the sponsorship commitment on Mesin ITS Team. It  prove that PT. AHM care about education, youth, and global energy issues. Because it is one of many ways to einforces conservation and fosters the development of leading technology for greater energy efficiency that students in the world can take apart.

We got message that Indonesian President called all of Indonesian team to meet in Istana Negara on April. It showed President support to all of us to race in Malaysia.
Thx for this support, we will do our best.

Yesterday Shell Eco Marathon America has complete. They got 1060 km/l for Internal combustion engine. What a great value. Here we hope we could pass the America's record. It is three month before the race. We still doing preparation, because there are some trouble. It was not easy to build two vehicle in such a short time. We compete with time to fixing all as soon as possible. Research and modeling to find solution. We are scheduled anything will be ready on midle of  June, so we can send them to Sepang and hoping race without any trouble.

We really sorry cos for one month we didn't write anything on this diary. It was because we were very busy on academic schedule of our college and preparation for this SEM Asia. Till now, we haved finished our urban concept car chassis. There are still alot of body work to do on Sapu Angin II while Sapu Angin I  has completely finished and ready to race in Sepang.

Finally Teams from ITB and UI have launched their vehicle on public. Three vehicles from ITB and three  vehicles from UI. It really show determination of Indonesian Teams in Shell Eco Marathon Asia 2010.  Conngratulation for them.

On May 11, all of Indonesian Teams will meet President be inconformity with the ceremonial of National Education Day. We will show our vehicles and take running test in front of  Mr. President. It will be a great moment for all of us.

Event in Jakarta, meeting President was very success. We show our vehicle in front of him. Beside that, it was first meeting with the other Indonesian teams. We talked much, and shared experiences each other. Hope we can do our best.

Thanks to Mr. Wempi M-41. By his permission, now we can use Juanda Circuit for running test every time  for free.
For now we still improve our engine. We still tune and try  several mode and fuel intake setting. It is  still disatisfy now.

Thanks to Badan Tenaga Nuklir Nasional (BATAN) for helping us on engine improvement. This is our last project on engine improvement. We hope we will get best fuel efficiency.

Today our car will be send to Kuala Lumpur. although there still several problem it will be solved soon. Hoping best result for prototype and urban vehicle, we will create simple sent off party on June 25, 2010. We invite all of our supporting official and sponsors to attend.

Thanks for Mitsubishi Motors for supporting all of Indonesian team on Shell Eco Marathon Asia 2010. 
And also thanks to all Sponsors, ITS, Faculty of Industrial Technology , Department of Mechanical Enginefering, Lembaga Bengkel Mahasiswa Mesin, all of Mechanical engineering and ITS students, our family and all persons that keep supporting us.  We will fight in Shell Eco Marathon Asia on July 7. Finally we have passed shell eco marathon asia 2010. We reach 238 km/l for urban concept and 236km/l for prototype class. There are so many troubles on our prototype vehicle in sepang. So it could not reach maximum result.
But we get best result for urban concept car and pass the american record. It is good achievement for us. We got first place for gasoline internal combustion class, and grand prize for internal combustion class.
